Dorian Awards

GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics celebrates the best in film, television, and New York theater. Whether it’s a mainstream hit or an indie gem, we’re a group of queer critics ready to talk about it all.

What makes the Dorians special is that every award is decided by our members through a fully democratic process. Each critic and journalist in GALECA gets a say, ensuring that the awards reflect the collective voice of our community. The Dorians aren’t just about honoring great work, they’re about highlighting stories that matter, amplifying diverse perspectives, and shining a spotlight on entertainment that resonates with queer audiences and beyond.
